Upward Bound participants will spend six weeks on the Glen Oaks Community College campus. Topic areas include the following:
- Information/technology literacy
- Foreign language Science
- Math (Algebra - Calculus)
- Literature
- Laboratory Science (Biology, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry)
- English Composition is used in every class.
Classes meet everyday from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm. Transportation and lunch is provided at no cost to participants. Students that successfully complete the Summer Academy will receive 1/2 of a high school elective credit.
