Through philanthropic efforts of the Foundation, charitable cash gifts have provided many students the
opportunity of an education that will in turn help change their lives in a positive way.
“Last year, 67 students received $57,000 in scholarships,” said Janene Breneman, executive director,
GOCC Foundation. “The awards can be used for education related expenses and consideration is given
for academic ability, financial circumstances and career goals in the selection of the recipients.

complete a 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) located on-line at

Recipients will be chosen by a committee on their academic achievements.
