Distance Learning Clerk

​Employees in this position, performing a full range of clerical duties, function as the office coordinator working with students, faculty, college administrators, and distance learners.  They participate in and supervise the performance of a variety of clerical tasks, perform secretarial tasks, and participate in office coordination activities through application of a body of knowledge related to instructions (procedures, practices, manuals or other specified instructions), guidelines (policies, rules, regulations or laws), and office equipment (computer, fax, photo-copier, camera).

Live Figure Models

Glen Oaks Community College is posting for Live Figure Models (nude) for ART 210 - Life Drawing, for the Winter 2016 semester. This class takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the semester.


Peak Time Student Services Assistant

​Employees in this position perform a variety of duties for the Student Services Department during peak registration periods. They will also be responsible for assisting students with appointments and inquiries. 


Student Success Coach (Title III)

​Student Success Coaches assist students with navigating through the challenges of higher education. Students and coaches work together to develop proactive strategies to address primarily non-cognitive challenges that act as barriers to student success. 

The one-on-one coaching sessions designed to address each student’s particular needs begins this process. That connection continues growing as we teach our students about the many resources available.
