Glen Oaks Allied Health Club
Allied Health Club students Karla Arvizo and Lori Frederick celebrate Allied Health Week on the Glen Oaks Concourse October 20, 2016.
The club is open to all current and past students of the GOCC Allied Health Programs. The club’s members are encouraged to develop the technical, critical thinking and networking skills for the medical workplace.
The club promotes the medical professions by:
1. Participation in college life
2. Modeling professionalism in all endeavors
3. Seeking to contribute to the health of the community
Students enjoy fund-raising activities that support the students of the school and the community through acts of philanthropy. Each year all current ALH students are encouraged to apply for the Oak’s Allied Health Scholarship to attend a health related conference or activity.
