The Glen Oaks Community College volleyball team dropped both matches this week to Muskegon Community College on Tuesday and Kellogg Community College on Thursday.

The Vikings lost in 3 straight to top Western Conference foe, MCC (13-25, 15-25, 17-25).  Paige Harvey (Fr., Marcellus HS) led Glen Oaks with 15 digs and teammate Calsey Gruzdov had a solid performance with two aces, ten kills, and 4 digs.

Thursday night in Battle Creek proved to be another tough match up against the Bruins dropping three straight 21-25, 10-25, 16-25. Gracie Roberts led the Vikings with 22 assists.

On Saturday, the Vikings will travel to Ancilla College to play in a tri-match with Ancilla and newly revived MCCAA Eastern Conference team, Henry Ford College. The Hawks are bringing volleyball back to their athletic program this year as well after a three year hiatus.

The Vikings will play Ancilla at noon followed by Henry Ford at the LifePlex facility in Plymouth, Indiana.
