Glen Oaks Community College has announced that Chuck Frisbie is the College’s new, part-time Director of Institutional Innovation.
Frisbie recently retired as the superintendent of Constantine Schools. Prior to serving Constantine, he served as Superintendent of Mendon schools.
Frisbie is no stranger to Glen Oaks – not only is he an alumnus, but he served the College as Men’s Basketball Coach and instructor of physical education in the nineties.
“In the newly created position, Frisbie will be working with all units of the college to help with special and developing initiatives in such areas as grants, partnerships, program development, K-12 engagement and others,” said Dr. David Devier, Glen Oaks President. “His role will focus on advancing the college’s service to students and the community.”
“I look forward to working with the staff and faculty at Glen Oaks to help in any way I can,” said Frisbie. “Glen Oaks was an important part of my education and it’s exciting for me to return in this capacity.”
Frisbie has an associate degree from Glen Oaks, and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Western Michigan University.
