Glen Oaks Community College will host a series of three public informational sessions seeking input from voters as it investigates a potential millage for the 2018 November election. The sessions will be held in the Dresser Business Development Center on the College’s campus on the following Wednesdays, May 2, 9 and 23, all at 6 p.m.
Guests will have the opportunity to learn about planned upgrades for improvements to campus safety and security, ADA compliance, energy savings, upgrades to technology laboratories and other improvements.
A 35-member Citizen Task Force representing community members, business, civic and education leaders, ag community representatives and other stakeholders, was formed in March. The group has helped the College develop possible funding proposals that will be shared at the meeting.
No RSVP is necessary for this event. The college is located at 6224 Shimmel Rd., Centreville, MI.
