Students interested in furthering their education, whether it means taking a class to advance
their skills, or beginning or continuing coursework toward an associate, bachelor’s or a master’s degree, can
learn about new options now available on the campus of Glen Oaks Community College.
“Return 2 Learn,” a special college information session focused on adult learners, will be held on Thursday,
November 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Dresser Business Development Center at Glen Oaks. Representatives
from Trine University, Spring Arbor University, Goshen College and the St. Joseph County Community Access
Network (CAN) will join admission representatives from Glen Oaks to share information on programming,
financial aid and answer questions about programs and the admission process.
“With new program offerings at Glen Oaks, and with the addition of Trine University, Spring Arbor University
and Goshen College running programs on the Glen Oaks campus, we want to get the word out about the
expanded options available to students,” said Adrienne Skinner, GOCC director of admissions. “We encourage
any adult—whether he or she graduated from high school three years ago or forty years ago — to attend this

students with information about support services available to help them succeed,” said Skinner. “Participants
will have the opportunity to have their questions answered regarding transfer credits, distance learning, military
service and more.”
