The Career Closet, operated by GOCC employees, provides currently enrolled students with professional attire appropriate for career fairs, interviews, classroom presentations, and the workplace. Inventory includes suits, blazers, dress pants, skirts, blouses and dress shirts, and more.
Our goal is to help students look their best so they can make a positive impression as they enter the professional world.

How It Works:
The Career Closet is located in Student Services. Students must present a valid GOCC student ID card to take (and keep) up to four individual apparel items per academic year.*
The Career Closet also has a collection of brand new blazers available for loan. Students may borrow one of these blazers by checking out the item with staff. Failure to return blazers within two weeks, or returning items in poor condition, will result in a fee of $50 and/or a registration/transcript hold on the student’s account. There is no limit to the number of times a blazer may be checked out from the closet, provided the loaner has previously returned blazers in a timely fashion and in good condition.
Each student who receives items from the Career Closet will be provided a packet of information on interviewing techniques, dressing to impress, and other resources to help students look and feel prepared for a job interview or career fair.
*Please note: the Career Closet cannot guarantee availability of all sizes.
