Six Sigma – Green Belt Training

This Six Sigma Greenbelt 40-hour workshop is based on the American Society for Quality’s (ASQ) CSSGB Body of Knowledge. Participants can expect to be fully engaged throughout this activity-based workshop while learning and applying the various tools and techniques used throughout the DMAIC approach to Six Sigma. Participants should expect to be continually challenged to explain and demonstrate how they will utilize the power and utility of Six Sigma to improve customer satisfaction and organizational performance.


Target Audience

Green Belt training is intended for quality team leads, supervisors,and quality engineering personnel with at least three years of quality work experience who want to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes.

Delivery Method

A variety of training methods are used in the course, including PPT presentation, discussion, exercises, group projects and demonstrations to reinforce learning and to encourage questions and participation. The participants will successfully complete a Six Sigma Green Belt Project utilizing the DMAIC process and appropriate tools and topics.

As a result of this workshop the participant should be able to:

  • Describe Six Sigma and explain how it is used to achieve breakthrough improvement
  • Describe the DMAIC process, identify and apply the various tools & techniques used in each step
  • Plan, identify, collect, analyze and report on data used to improve customer satisfaction
  • Create process solutions that eliminate the root cause(s) of customer defects
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute against the plan by determining the approach to ensure achievement of the targeted results
