Glen Oaks Board approves 2.8 percent tuition increase

The Glen Oaks Board of Trustees approved a 2.8 percent tuition increase at its May meeting. Both general and technology fees will remain the same.

Effective, beginning the fall, 2023 semester, students will pay a $3 increase per contact hour bringing the new rates to: $133 for In-District (St. Joseph County) residents; $164 for Service Area residents (Cass County residents in the Three Rivers, Constantine or White Pigeon School districts, Branch County, as well as LaGrange, Elkhart, St. Joseph and Steuben Counties of Indiana); $199 for State-of-Michigan residents (Residents who are in state, but outside of the service area), $235 for Out-of-State residents; and $283 for International students.

“Based on a typical 12-contact hour semester, the overall tuition increase will amount to $36,” said Jennifer Dodson, chief financial officer and controller.

“The increases were set to help offset inflation.”
