The Glen Oaks Community College Foundation (Foundation) will host a Viking Drop-In event Tuesday April 25 at The In-Between Restaurant & Lounge, 21355 W Chicago Rd, Sturgis, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm. The event is a casual gathering to connect with former Glen Oaks students. Anyone who attended or graduated from Glen Oaks is encouraged to attend.
“We tested this concept in 2022 and it was such a success, we are continuing the events in 2023. We are working our way around St. Joseph County and encourage all our alumni to attend one event.” says Mary Fair Dechow, chair of the Glen Oaks Foundation’s Alumni Committee.
Future events include Curly’s in Colon on May 24, Wine About It in White Pigeon on July 27, and a nursing affinity group at Island Hills County Club in Centreville on June 28. Watch Glen Oaks social media platforms and your mail for more information. The Alumni Committee also shares an electronic newsletter monthly that features the story of a Glen Oaks alum. Anyone interested in receiving the newsletter can register on the “Alumni Information Update” link on the Alumni & Friends page of the College’s website.
