Glen Oaks students aim for payback!

With classes ending for the Fall Semester at Glen Oaks Community College, students had the opportunity to take out their frustration about final exams on several of the faculty. During the noon hour on Wednesday, Dec. 15, students could purchase a shaving cream pie for $1 (for Christmas charity) and smack a faculty member in the face. Students lined up on the Concourse for the chance to get in on the “payback” for a tough math or science test. Shown receiving a pie across the face is Science instructor Sarah Simmons.

Also on the receiving end of the fundraiser were Mathematics instructor Jill Toner, Science instructor Dr. Ren Hartung, Psychology instructor Chad Worthington, and Biology instructor Jeffery Hucko.
Classes for the semester end December 17. Students are now enrolling for the Winter 2011 Semester. Due to the Christmas-New Year break there is no registration December 18 to January 3.
