GOCC Allied Health Club raises funds for Adopt-A-Family

The annual poinsettia sale, sponsored by the Glen Oaks Community College Allied Health Club, was a huge success this year. A total of 113 plants were sold, and the Club’s earnings from the sale totaled $536. Half the proceeds are going to Glen Oaks Christmas Adopt-A-Family and the remainder goes toward scholarships. Karen Webber, student support specialist/single parent program coordinator, was presented a check for $270 to purchase items needed for the family.
