job seekers access to the internet. Michigan Works! representatives will be available from 1:00 p.m. to
3:30 p.m. each Tuesday in Room 22A of the Glen Oaks Business Development Center (adjacent to the
main GOCC entrance from the parking lot).
Job seekers may use Glen Oaks computers to prepare resumes and actively search job postings on
Michigan’s largest online job bank. The Michigan Works! system provides information and resources to
enable employers and job seekers a means of successfully competing in today’s economy. Visitors will
also receive assistance using the Michigan Career Portal.
Those stopping by the Glen Oaks Business Development Center will learn to search for jobs from
home or office any time of day or night. Also, Key Train provides a comprehensive learning system for
common skills required for all jobs, based on ACT’s WorkKeys assessment system. WorkKeys
Assessment System is a comprehensive system for measuring, communicating and improving the
common skills required for success in the work place.
