Founded in 1923 as Editorial Research Reports, CQ Researcher is noted for its in-depth, unbiased coverage of health, social trends, criminal justice, international affairs, education, the environment, technology, and the economy. Reports are published weekly in print and online 44 times a year by CQ Press, a division of Congressional Quarterly Inc.

General Reference Center Gold on InfoTrac Web provides one-stop access to general interest magazines, business periodicals, reference books, maps, historical images, and newspaper articles. Records are available with a combination of indexing, abstracts, image, or full text formats.  


HarpWeek provides electronic access to Harper’s Weekly, the 19th century “Journal of Civilization” which is currently in use at over 500 colleges and universities for instruction and research.
