“It is really nice that Glen Oaks can help Samantha complete the funds needed to go on this trip,” said Professor Reed. Fassett is a working student with little time to raise the extra money for the trip. The June 2009 Educational Tours trip entitled “Costa Rica: A Touch of the Tropics” is for members of the public and Glen Oaks students enrolled in the SSF 200 Travel and Study Abroad class.

Reed said people still have time to sign up for the Costa Rica trip that includes round-trip air fare, hotel stays, daily meals, a bilingual guide, sightseeing tours, and special visits to fascinating sites. Plans are also underway for the 2010 trip to Great Britain: Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England.
