Agriculture

Does the world of planting and nurturing crops or harvesting and maintaining agricultural equipment appeal to you? The Midwest is America’s heartland for farming with fertile soil and in order to grow food, there’s a myriad of farming equipment from tractors, plows and fertilizer spreaders to combines and harvesters. Today’s modern farming equipment uses sophisticated technologies that use sensors to detect data such as soil moisture and drones that provide aerial images to help guide profitability.

Glen Oaks offers a program to develop service technicians who can perform work on the latest major brand equipment as well as a partnership program with Michigan State University in Agricultural Operations.
