Mechanized Irrigation

Would you like a better understanding of water management as part of farming? Would you like to know how to best utilize and maintain irrigation equipment on your farm?

The Mechanized Irrigation program prepares students to become mechanized irrigation technicians, providing them with basic concepts and skills of agricultural equipment technology, electrical technology, and welding, as well as specialized knowledge and skills in mechanized irrigation systems. Students receive a work-based learning experience via a co-op/field experience with a local irrigation dealership placement.
