The second-year art students at Glen Oaks will be the first to exhibit their work in the new Flora Kirsch Beck Art Gallery on April 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. during the Concourse Reveal and Ribbon Cutting event. And the family of Flora Kirsch Beck will be on hand for the event.
“We are excited that our students will be the first to showcase their work in the new art gallery,” said Michael Northrop, professor of art. “Over 30 pieces of work will be available for viewing from watercolor and pastels to oils, photography and digital prints.”
The students exhibiting their work are Crystal Miller, of Sturgis; Ailyn Lopez, of Sturgis; John Paul Gamet-Herendeen, of Three Rivers; Hailey Stoppenbach, of Three Rivers; and Natalia White, of Sturgis.
The artwork will be on display through May 27, 2019. The exhibit is free and open to the public during the Concourse Reveal event.
