Course Placement Evaluation

The Course Placement Evaluation assesses students’ skill levels in Reading, Writing, and Math to help determine which courses students should take first to be successful. After completing the test, students are encouraged to meet with an academic advisor to discuss results and plan classes accordingly.

The placement test is an un-timed, computerized test. The test is designed to use adaptive techniques; the computer will automatically determine which questions to present depending on the response to prior questions.

Though the test is un-timed, we encourage students to allow at least two hours to complete the test. You must also present a valid photo ID on the day of your test.

If you are a student with a documented disability and require special testing accommodations, please contact Lyle Raven, Director of Student Success, Advising, and Counseling at 269-294-4242 or via our Contact Form.
