Schedule a placement test by calling the Tutoring and Testing Center at 269-294-4270. You will need a PICTURE ID!
Students without scores on file will NOT be able to register for courses. Those with qualifying ACT/SAT scores or a prior degree can skip this step. Advisors are always available to interpret your scores, help you clarify your goals, and select proper courses for your program, although you will not be registered
before completing step 5.

transcripts from high school, Adult Education, GED, and College from the school/organization directly or sent electronically through Parchment/Docufide services. High school transcripts are not official until after your graduation date and that date must be published on the transcript.
You will need to sign up for an on campus orientation by clicking on “Registration for New Student Orientation” under the Admissions tab on the GOCC website. Students seeking classes only online may contact Admissions for further instructions.
During orientation you will learn about Policies & Procedures and campus resources/organizations, how to log-in to your Go-Zone, and meet one on one with our Advising, Financial Aid, Cashiering, and Student Success Coaches team. Also, learn how to pay for classes and/or set up your payment plan.
This is a MANDATORY step to getting registered for classes!*
New students are not able to do an orientation or register within three days before the start of a semester.
Be sure to activate your Go-Zone account, instructions are sent with your acceptance letter.
