Financial AidWelcome to the Glen Oaks Community College Financial Aid Office. The Financial Aid Office provides various options for assisting students with their educational expenses. Options include grants, scholarships, work opportunities, and loans.
The first step in applying for federal student aid is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov. Apply as soon as possible after October 1st for the following academic year. The 2017-2018 FAFSA became available October 1st, 2016. The 2018-2019 FAFSA will be available October 1st, 2017.
In accordance with federal regulations set forth by The Higher Education Act of 1965, certain consumer information must be made available to all students, parents, guidance counselors, and coaches.
