After you apply and receive your acceptance letter, you’re ready to take the next steps toward registering for classes at Glen Oaks Community College.

Your acceptance letter includes important information to help guide you through the enrollment process.


Complete These Steps Before Registering


1. Set Up Your Single Sign-On (SSO)

Create your GOCC account to access:

  • Student email
  • Registration tools
  • Orientation materials
  • Campus systems

2. Complete New Student Orientation

Orientation helps you learn about:

  • Campus resources
  • Student support services
  • Academic expectations
  • Technology and student systems

3. Finish All Required Orientation Tasks

Be sure to complete all assigned tasks included in orientation before moving forward with registration.


4. Connect With an Academic Advisor

After you complete orientation and all required steps, an academic advisor will contact you by email to:

  • Introduce themselves
  • Schedule your advising appointment
  • Help you build your class schedule

Your advisor will help you choose courses that align with your goals and program pathway.

How to Register for Classes

Once you are eligible to register, you may:

  • Register through the myGOCC portal
  • Submit registration forms through Etrieve
  • Finalize your class schedule with advisor support

Students are not officially enrolled until registration is completed.

Important Tuition & Payment Reminder

After registering for classes, all students must either:

  • Pay tuition in full, or
  • Set up a payment plan within 48 hours

Students who do not complete payment arrangements may lose their seat in registered classes...
