Glen Oaks Community College recently celebrated employees who have reached milestone service anniversaries. Employees were recognized during an All-College meeting held on February 8.
The most senior person recognized was Judy Fetch, library technician, who is celebrating 40 years of service. Fetch began working at the college in 1981 and is still in the same job, in the same department. Over the years, she has timelessly served students and is said to always have a smile on her face.
Bill Lederman, professor of nursing, was recognized for his 35th anniversary. He began his teaching career at Glen Oaks in 1986 and was soon teaching five classes. Today, his students recognize and appreciate his true passion for education.
