2022 Annual Report Dashboard – MAERB
Submission of an Annual Report Form (ARF) is required of all Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited medical assisting programs. The report is submitted through the Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB). The ARF is used for reporting the outcomes identified in the Standards: retention, job placement, graduate and employer satisfaction, and medical assisting credentialing. The data is reported for a five-year period.

Outcomes Assessment: Column Descriptions
Retent(ion): Reflects the percentage of Medical Assisting students that graduated versus those that started but did not complete the program.
Grad Part: Graduation Participation reflects the percentage of Medical Assisting graduates that filled out and returned a Survey of the Medical Assisting program and its quality.
Grad Sat: Graduation Satisfaction reflects the percentage of Medical Assisting graduates that expressed satisfaction with the education that they received in the Medical Assisting program.
Place(ment): Reflects the percentage of Medical Assisting students that were employed after completing the program.
Emp Part: Employer Participation reflects the percentage of Employers of our Medical Assisting graduates that filled out and returned a Survey regarding how well the Glen Oaks program prepared their newly employed Medical Assistant.
Emp Sat: Employer Satisfaction reflects the percentage of Employers of our Medical Assisting graduates that filled out and returned a Survey regarding their satisfaction with their newly employed Medical Assistant.
Exam Part: Exam Participation reflects the percentage of Glen Oaks Medical Assisting graduates actual took the national Certified Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants) CMA (AAMA) Exam.
Exam Pass: Exam Passage rate reflects the percentage of Glen Oaks Medical Assisting graduates who actual took the national Certified Medical Assistant (American Association of Medical Assistants) CMA (AAMA) Exam and passed it on the first attempt.
