Glen Oaks Community College will hold its 55th Annual Commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 5, in Ken Schuler Court (Glen Oaks gymnasium). The Health Sciences Pinning ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 6 at 10 a.m. in Ken Schuler Court for nursing and allied health students.

Glen Oaks Community College will host a free, three-day hazmat workshop, May 16 – 18, at the Centreville, Rd. campus to provide a basic knowledge of the Department of Transportation hazmat regulations.  The workshop is intended for all hazmat non-government and government employees that handle, ship, package, transport, and complete
